    Dave Jasman went home to be with the Lord May 12, 2017 in Odessa. He was 92 years old. David was born August 1, 1924 in Dryden, Wash. to Julius and Emma Jasman. He joined the U.S. Army near the end of World War II and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant. David married Carey McKeehan on August 19, 1951 in Wilson Creek, and they were married for 65 years. For 71 years, farming was David's heritage.     Small forest landowners will get some assistance in reducing wildfire risk on their property with the signing into law of House Bill 1924. The governor signed the bill sponsored by Rep. Tom Dent, with Public Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz in attendance.     This summer the Reardan Memorial Library and the Harrington City Library will be offering two hours of crafts, books and fun beginning on July 3, closed on the Fourth of July, but then continuing every Monday through Friday through August 11.
