BLM proposes fencing for Saddle Mountains OHV area

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Spokane District, Wenatchee Field Office, is proposing to build 1.75 miles of fence on the east end of the Saddle Mountains Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) open riding area. The proposed fence would delineate the boundary between the BLM-managed OHV open riding area and adjacent private lands (not open for OHV use). An information package is available on the internet at: http://www.blm.gov/or/districts/spokane/plans/index.php, or upon request from the Wenatchee Field Office at (509) 665-2100.

The BLM is accepting public scoping comments until April 22, 2011. Comments may be sent to the email or postal address listed above. Please direct all comments to the attention of: Saddle Mountains OHV Boundary Fence.

Be advised that your entire comment - including personal identifying information (address, phone number, or email address) may be made publicly available.
