Wilson Creek High's FBLA named a Gold Seal Chapter

Eleven Wilson Creek students sacrificed part of their spring break in April to participate in the annual FBLA State Business Leadership Conference in Spokane.

The chapter was recognized as a Gold Seal Chapter, which requires completion of 10 out of 15 items on the qualifying sheet. The chapter was also recognized as having the highest percentage of membership in the state and region.

Shoshana Lutz and Mari Alvarez took fourth in American Enterprise Project. Jacob Treat received the WSBEA Kosy Scholarship and was honored as High School Chapter President. Ryan Trepanier and Sophie Hochstatter were selected as Outstanding Chapter Members.

On Thursday, May 19, FBLA members will be coordinating the Mini Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. Each chapter will be responsible for keeping a team of up to a dozen elementary school pupils under control during the event.
