Recent donations provide for new museum displays

The Odessa Historical Museum has received a recent donation of books from the Virginia (Beck) Michel family. “Adams County Pioneer Edition” and “Black Rock Pioneer Edition,” published by the Ritzville Journal Times, include newspaper accounts of life in the Marlin/Black Rock/Ruff areas. The books have many photographs of pioneer life, including photos by the Black Rock area professional photographer Joshua Elmer.

Also donated was a commemorative booklet with photos of all the graduating classes of the Marlin School District.
