Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

Odessa Public Library offers new services

The Odessa Public Library is offering several new services that are available to the Odessa community.

The newest service are the Nook and Kindle that have a dozen new titles downloaded on them. They are available for checkout.

The Nook and Kindle are provided through a Connecting Libraries grant that was awarded this past fall. The grant opportunity was offered through the Washington State Library.

Also, as part of the Connecting Libraries grant a traveling collection of books and DVDs and books on CD were purchased by seven participating libraries. The libraries in Lincoln and Adams County purchased individual collections that move from library to library every three months, so the next collections will arrive at the Odessa Public Library the first week of December.

Several magazines are also available at the library. To name a few: Consumer Report, InStyle, Smithsonian, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Country Living, Victoria, Tea Time, Country Gardens, Inland Northwest, etc.

The library is open every Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon - 5 p.m.
