Vets get help with benefits they've earned

To help spread the word about a program that connects Washington State veterans and their families with federal benefits they have earned with their military service, the nine-year-old Veterans Benefit Enhancement Project in Olympia has acted as a pacesetter for other states. Many of them are now setting up similar efforts within their Medicaid programs. In Washington State, the Veterans project is part of the Medicaid Payment Review Program and the Office of Program Integrity in the Health Care Authority.
