Honors music on display at INB Performing Arts Center

The Bi-County Honor Choirs and Bands performed Monday, March 18, at the INB Performing Arts Center in Spokane. Students from both Odessa and Harrington were involved, as were students from Reardan, Davenport, Lind/Ritzville, Liberty, Wilbur, Lamont, Sprague, Creston and Almira/Coulee/Hartline.

Participating in junior-high choir were soprano Shaelyn Nuner, alto Evie Mann and baritone George Butrick, all of Harrington (H).

Junior-high band members were Rebecca Fortner (Odessa), Elizabeth Larson (O), Mickey Moore (H), Molly Schafer (O) and Amber Smith (H) on flute; Shelbey Watkins (O), first clarinet; Zoe Clark (O), first alto sax; Alex Bruce (H) and Keisha McNeil (O), second alto sax; Lukas Marshall (O), first trumpet; John DeWulf (O), first trombone; Jayd Jennings (O), second trombone; and Aaron Gies (O), percussion.

High school choir members were altos Isabelle Phillips and Jordyn Tanke and bass James Smith, all of Harrington.

High school band mambers were Alexa Boss (O), first flute; Briette Boss (O) and Laura Kinney (O), second flute; AnnaRenee Bockmann (O) and Samantha Nighswonger (H), second clarinet; MaKayla Baird (O), Alexis Burdick (O) and Katelyn Worley (O), third clarinet; Ashley Baarstad (H), bass clarinet; Katie DeWulf (O), second alto sax; Jacob Montgomery (H), tenor sax; Caleb Singer (O), bariton sax; Jacob DeWulf (O), first trumpet; Dakota Largent (O), second trumpet; Hunter Bramer (O), third trumpet; Max Greenwalt (O) and William Mann (H), third trombone; Derek Montgomery (H), baritone; Sam Schafer (O), electric bass guitar; Casey Schlomer (O), Parker Valverde (O) and Carsen Weber (O), percussion.

Each group played four or five selections in varying musical styles.
