Movie scenes shot both at Odessa and Hartline sites

The historic Hartline School was the setting for a film shoot by Scabland Productions, LLC, on Saturday, October 12. Early morning saw director Jessi Shuttleworth and members of the film crew on location in Hartline to shoot scenes for the upcoming short film "February". Six local youth from Hartline and three youth from Moses Lake performed as extras, and Hartline resident Duane Dormaier was filmed driving his truck in one of the scenes. Port commissioner Cindy Cauble and Hartline 2nd Chance owner Rosalie Eckhart provided assistance before and during the filming.

In addition to the scenes filmed in and around the Hartline school, "February" includes scenes of the Odessa Drive-In, and various eastern Washington landscapes. Currently residing and working in New York City, director Jessi Shuttleworth grew up in Moses Lake. ]]"February" is 15-minute short film about a cop who is trying to overturn a violent past and right a wrong. It is a festival-bound film currently in post-production. The cast and actors include Physllis Sommerville, Eathan Phillips, Patrick Husted, Kathrine Hiler, Dan Shaked, and Cristen Hemmingway.
