Lobo found, returned to family after auto accident

On Sunday, October 12, a single-car rollover accident occurred on I-90 near Fishtrap Lake. An eyewitness account said the car rolled 15 to 20 times. A yellow husky-malamute cross named Lobo was ejected from the vehicle, and the driver was transported to the hospital. After a day and a half of searching by volunteers and family members and with the daughter in the family driving six hours from Canada to Washington, the Lincoln County Washington Lost & Found Pet Network was privileged to be a part of the happy reunion Monday between the dog and its owner. Both were feeling the effects of the accident, but a checkup by a veterinarian said Lobo came out of it with only bruises. The moral of the story: Never give up looking for a lost animal.

We are a donation-supported organization and appreciate Lincoln County for helping us to help those with lost or found animals. While we are primarily just a communications network, we strive to meet each unique need with whatever resources we can find. Your continued support allows us to report happy endings such as Lobo's story. Learn more at http://www.facebook.com/lcwlfpn.
