Mobius and school district offer family fun night 10/21

The Mobius Science Center from Spokane and the Odessa School District invites the greater Odessa and surrounding communities to a Family Science Night on October 21, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be food, drink and science for the entire family. This fun-filled evening features selections from each of Mobius’ exciting shows. A set of demonstrations covering a wide range of subjects is guaranteed to ignite the imagination. Let Mobius and the Odessa School District help spark your enthusiasm for the wonders of our world.

The Mobius Science Center visits Odessa High School once a month bringing exciting and meaningful science to our students. Last year, topics covered were forensic science, earthquakes, cow eye dissections and more. This year we have already been visited once and studied engineering with design and construction events. The winners of the engineering event were: senior Thor Wehr, junior Caleb McNeil, sophomore Wyatt Haase and freshman Patrick Valverde, who also engineered the tallest tower of the day.
