FBLA American enterprise project involves all at school

Odessa High School's FBLA chapter completed an American Enterprise Project called "FES Goes Viral with the American Enterprise System." Students in sixth grade and the entire high school were taught the following components of the American Enterprise System: Profit Motive, Customer Sovereignty, Right to Choose A Business, Right to Own Property, and Competition.

Using that knowledge, students created digital books and video productions featuring the mascot "FES" to teach others about the system. Their digital books and videos will soon be available on line so that others can learn about the American economic system. Odessa third-graders and other students used the stories created on computer tablets by their fellow students for reading practice and to learn about American enterprise.
