Caroline and Turner Slack, children of Justin and Heather Slack of Harrington show off some of the items for the OH silent auction. The dinner/auction will be held on Saturday, November 7, at the Odessa Community Center.
The Odessa-Harrington Booster Club dinner and auction fundraiser is coming November 7 at the Odessa Community Center. This will be the sixth annual event sponsored by the Booster Club since the two schools opted to participate in a sports cooperative. Last year's event raised $20,000 which allowed the club to purchase new equipment, uniforms, entry fees for camps and tournaments and two annual scholarships for student athletes as they begin their college years.
Tickets for the event cost $25, and the steaks are always cooked on an outdoor grill and accompanied by tasty side dishes.
