First semester honor roll announced for Odessa

Odessa junior/senior high school students who achieved top grades during the first semester of the current academic year have been announced. A student must have a grade point average of 3.50-4.00 to be on the honor roll and honorable mention requires a grade point average of 3.25-3.49. Grade values are based on the state transcript requirements.

Odessa High School seniors Stacia Lesser (4.0), Katie DeWulf, Casey Schlomer, Alexis Schmierer and Hunter Bramer made the honor roll and Caleb Singer received honorable mention.

Juniors Rebecca Fortner, Elizabeth Larson, Molly Schafer (4.0), Wyatt Haase, Zoe Clark, Colby Sooy, Chance Messer, John DeWulf, Brad Johnston, Lukas Marshall and Keisha McNeil were named to the honor roll. Honorable mention went to Aaron Gies, Shelbey Watkins and Cole Kissler.

Sophomores Hannah Sheldon (4.0), Danielle Tebow, Colton Hunt, Jayd Jennings, Kiegan Wehr and Noah Anderson were on the honor roll. Thomas Parham received honorable mention.

Freshmen Megan Shafer, Tori Weishaar (4.0) and Rochelle Schuh made the honor roll, while Kassidy Crossley and Brenna Carstensen received honorable mention.

At the junior-high level, eighth-graders Ireland Luiten (4.0), Eric Johnston, Ryan Moffet, Camden Weber, Maddy Wagner, Jaden Hunt, Caitlyn Schuh, Mya Boss, Marcus King, Joshua Clark and McKennah Davison all made the honor roll. Honorable mention went to Brady Walter, Natosha Boss and Jakob Starkel.

Seventh-graders Jett Nelson, Pilot Weishaar, Keith Strebeck, Kaya Curo, Maddie Scrupps, Colton Messer, Tim DeWulf, Nicholas Larson and Darrion Carter were named to the honor roll. Alyssa Iverson and Katreace Boss received honorable mention.
