It is back-to-school time for Odessa kids, and time for all of us who drive around town to be aware of youngsters on their way to and from school. Slow down and be aware of surroundings.

The local school district has provided evidence once again of the high quality of personnel employed there. Accolades have gone this time to Tim Larson and Jeff Wehr. The word is out that this is a school system that cares about its young charges, and school enrollment continues to grow.
