Kendall Todd weds Zachary Shuholm

Kendall GraceAnn Todd and Zachary Michael Shuhom were married July 1, 2017 at five o'clock in the afternoon. The ceremony was officiated by Nate Emhoff in a garden setting at the historic Glover Mansion in Spokane, Wash. Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony in traditional fashion. A rehearsal dinner and party was hosted the previous evening by the parents of the groom at a beautiful waterfront home in Post Falls, Idaho.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Todd of Odessa. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robin Kendall of Huntington Beach, California and the late Mike Kendall, the late JoAnn Jobson Kendall, and the late Mel and Grace Todd. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shuholm of West Linn, Ore. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hartley of Salem, Ore., and Edward Shuholm of Salem, Ore. and the late Betty Shuholm.

Escorted by her father and given away by her parents, the bride wore an ivory antique lace gown with cathedral length train and veil. She carried a bouquet of mixed ivory flowers and eucalyptus.

Miss Courtney Fairhart of Morton, Wash., friend to the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridal attendants included Miss Taylor Barnes of Pullman, Wash., friend to the bride, Miss Lexi McKinley of West Linn, Ore., friend to the bride, Miss Kayla Prewitt of Tacoma, Wash., friend to the bride, Miss Kathryn Hendricks of Spokane, Wash., friend to the bride, and Miss Jessica Shuholm of Littleton, Colo., sister to the groom. Mr. Dan Watkins of Salem, Oregon, friend to the groom, served as Best Man. Groom attendants included Mr. James Coghill of Portland, Ore., friend to the groom, Mr. Bryant Bushnell of Los Angeles, Calif., friend to the groom, Mr. Jordan Pearson of West Linn, Ore., friend to the groom, Mr. Stephen Fleming of Kirk, Wash., friend to the groom, and Mr. Travis Todd of Brewster, Wash., brother to the bride.

Miss Elin Hartley and Miss Carina Vasquez, cousins to the groom, served as flower girls. The ring bearers were Benecio Vasquez, cousin to the groom, and Scoutson Todd, nephew to the bride.

Violinist Sam Abbott, friend of the bride and groom, provided music during the ceremony. Maid of Honor, Courtney Fairhart, serenaded the newlyweds during their first dance with an original song written by Joel Ansett, friend of the bride and groom. The reception took place immediately following throughout the gardens and mansion with music provided by DJ Nate Click of Complete Spokane.

Kendall is a 2013 graduate of Odessa High School and 2017 graduate of Whitworth University. Zachary is a 2012 graduate of West Linn High School and 2016 graduate of Whitworth University. After a honeymoon to Santa Barbara, the couple has made their home in Lake Oswego, Ore. where Zachary works as a employee benefits consultant with The Partners Group, and Kendall plans to teach in an elementary school.
