Jan. 3

Traffic stops: 11

A caller said she broke up with her boyfriend after he was drinking and using drugs at a party in Omak and said he may be heading toward Cheney after drinking for several days straight.

A courtesy ride was given to a man who need to get across Davenport.

A Harrington man said a white truck knocked down a stop sign and drove off east down Fitness Lane south of Davenport.

A woman called to say she locked herself out of her vehicle.

Washington State Patrol reported a white Toyota Camry off the roadway in the ditch.

A Pasco man reported a black four-door sedan driving around Sterling Valley Road in Lincoln since that morning that had been parked at an intersection for over an hour.

A man contacted the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office requesting gift cards and vouchers for gas and groceries. He said he was a veteran living on Bureau of Land Management property in a camper and was working on securing a residence in Harrington.

A caller said they drove off the road, hit a pole and knocked it and a transformer down.

A Davenport man reported a man drifting around his house in a black Kia with no headlights on.

A caller reported a vehicle getting rear-ended at a high speed.

A vehicle slide-off was reported.

Jan. 4

Traffic stops: 1

A caller said a vehicle was stuck east of her house on the 1000 block of Davis Road East near Odessa with a man, woman and baby inside.

A Lincoln woman reported fraud.

Commercial burglary was reported in Odessa.

A caller reported discovered property at Sandy’s in Wilbur.

A caller requested a welfare check on her elderly parents, whom she said she hadn’t been able to check in on due to bad weather and downed phone lines.

A caller said someone was issuing checks under his name totaling over $10,000.

A Davenport man said he hit a deer with his car and broke its back in Reardan but didn’t kill it. He said his vehicle suffered minimal damage.

A caller from Odessa Memorial Hospital said her grandson was missing after he was supposed to see her following his basketball practice.

A Davenport woman reported an unoccupied car stuck in the middle of a road blocking traffic while road conditions were slick.

Jan. 5

Traffic stops: 17

A Wilbur woman said she recently had a fraud issue and a man had just called her saying he was with the Wells Fargo fraud division. She said it seemed the man knew too much information and found the call suspicious.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Lincoln Hospital for a COVID-19 test before being shuttled to prison.

A caller asked for help getting his medication from Lincoln Hospital.

A caller reported a woman trespassing on a Reardan residence.

A Davenport woman said a car driving westbound on Highway 2 from the Spokane county line was traveling 35 miles per hour with 15 cars behind it. She added that when another car came from the opposite direction, this car would slow down even more.

A Pasco man said his wife has substance abuse issues and there were firearms in her house.

A Davenport man said he locked his keys inside his Cadillac that he parked at Les Schwab.

A Mohler woman said her relative left a note saying he was tired of taking his prescribed medication.

A car slid off Highway 2 at Telford Road.

A Reardan woman said she was threatened by a man known to be on drugs and in possession of knives.

Traffic stops: 2

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the U.S. Bank parking lot in Reardan.

Moon Security reported a front door alarm going off at a Devil’s Gap address.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was shuttled to prison in Spokane County.

A Davenport man reported a suspicious vehicle on the 41100 block of Cobb Road East.

A Harrington man reported five cows on the loose near the intersection of Duck Lake Lamona Road North and Coffee Pot Road East.

A Wilbur man reported a black Subaru hatchback with dark tinted windows driving on Douglas Road near Highway 174 with no lights on after dark.

A caller reported what appeared to be someone breaking into storage units.

Jan. 7

Traffic stops: 3

A caller reported a car crash on Circle Road north of Reardan.

A lost dog was reported on the 300 block of East Walnut Street in Sprague.

Jan. 8

Traffic stops: 31

A Davenport woman said her house was broken into on Maxwell Street.

A Davenport man reported a vehicle violating traffic laws near Reardan.

A Davenport man reported a driver possibly under the influence swerving across the roadway and varying speeds on Highway 2 westbound from Ziemer Road.

Drugs were found in Reardan.

Washington State Patrol said they heard a report of people passed out from too much drinking on the side of Highway 2 east of Telford.

Traffic stops: 8

An abandoned vehicle was reported at Fort Spokane.

A Reardan man said a van slid off the roadway into the ditch in front of her friend’s residence up Highway 231 north of Reardan.

Austin Andrew Anderson, 21, Davenport. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of driving under the influence.

Jan. 4

Mary Augusta McNeeley, 31, Davenport. Originally arrested by LCSO on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Jan. 6

Cody Phillip Gould, 32, Wellpinit. Arrested by LCSO on charges of having a pistol loaded in a vehicle, possession of a stolen firearm and third-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked.

Jan. 7

Richard Gordon Hedquist, 61, Nine Mile Falls. Booked by LCSO after illegally transporting fish and wildlife.

Melissa Jean Schimek, 46, hometown not listed. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Jan. 8

Braden Gary Waters, 22, Spokane Valley. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Skye P. Devereaux, Omak, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Case dismissed.

Jarvon Lamor Stratton, Kennewick, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and interference with reporting. Second charge dismissed. Sentenced to three days in jail, a $500 fine, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Caden Marcus Maxwell, Davenport, failure to register as a sex offender. Sentenced to 30 days in jail and 24 months supervised probation.

Timothy C. Moore, Omak, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation and a $250 fine.

George E. Flett Jr., Fruitland, indecent exposure. Sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and a $500 fine.

Kayla Brianna Baunsgard, Bothell, two counts of fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence. One count dismissed. Sentenced to four days in jail with credit for four days served, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Summer Dawn Mayer, Airway Heights, possession of a dangerous weapon. Sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served.

Robert Roy Coppersmith, Grand Coulee, third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a valid license. First charge dismissed. Sentenced to two days in jail, a $250 fine, 16 hours of community service and 12 months supervised probation.

Mary A. McNeeley, Davenport, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Sentenced to five days in jail and 24 months supervised probation.

Melissa Jean Schimek, Grand Coulee, driving under the influence amended to first-degree negligent driving. Sentenced to two days in jail, a $1,000 fine and 18 months supervised probation.

Cecil Kent Condon, Spokane, driving without a license and operating a vehicle without valid certification. Sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and a $250 fine.

Robert Will Darnold, Airway Heights, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Jamey Eugene Cardwell, Davenport, second-degree criminal trespassing. Sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and a $250 fine.

Richard Gordon Hedquist, Nine Mile Falls, unlawful transportation of fish and wildlife. Sentenced to three days in jail and a $4,000 fine after he failed to complete community service.

SUPERIOR COURT

Criminal docket-Jan. 4

Nathan David King pleaded guilty to residential burglary for stealing items from a residence in Odessa and was sentenced to 19 months in prison.

Tyler Elman Scharff, who is charged with second-degree assault/strangulation, is expected to have his case resolved in District Court.

Cody James Magruder, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree vehicle prowling and second-degree malicious mischief, has a pending offer from the state. The hearing was continued to Jan. 11.

Christopher D. Holverson, who is charged with first-degree malicious mischief, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and third-degree theft, has a plea agreement. The hearing was continued to Jan. 11.

Austin A. Anderson, who is charged with third-degree child molestation, entered a not-guilty plea. Bail was set at $15,000. A no-contact order was given to Anderson with the alleged victim. A readiness hearing was set for Feb. 1 and a jury trial was set for March 2.

Timothy Richard Bordwell, who is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failed to appear for an arraignment. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Bordwell’s last two known addresses are in Spokane.
