Feb. 4

Traffic stops: 10

A disabled vehicle was reported at Highway 231 South and Highway 2.

A caller said the front door of someone who wasn’t home was left open.

Traders Express staff in Davenport said a patron locked her keys in her pickup truck.

A caller said her underage daughter was using marijuana.

A caller said someone broke into his truck and stole a jump pack and two sets of tiedown straps.

A possibly disabled vehicle was reported at Highway 2 and Ziemer Road.

An undelivered Amazon package with an empty beer bottle on top of it was reported at the intersection of Brommer and Alexander Roads outside Reardan.

A Davenport woman said someone tried to drop off a dog in front of her driveway.

A Davenport man said his tenant broke into a residence and stole meth.

A caller reported a verbal dispute regarding alleged child abuse.

A Mondovi woman said a vehicle pulled into her yard and the driver got out of the car, then re-entered after a few minutes.

Traffic stops: 4

A hit-and-run case was reported.

Adult Protective Services reported financial exploitation of an elderly woman.

A Grand Coulee woman said there were two tractors and a truck on her property on the 46300 block of Rainbow Drive.

The sudden death of a 79-year-old female was reported near Hanson Harbor north of Wilbur.

A caller said he could hear two guys near his house that were there to kill him.

Feb. 6

Traffic stops: 15

The sudden death of a 72-year-old man was reported north of Creston.

A basement motion alarm was reported in the Waukon area.

A non-injury car versus bus crash was reported at Cedar Street and Broadway Avenue in Reardan.

A Harrington man said someone broke into his house and could still be there.

Feb. 7

Traffic stops: 20

An elderly man suffering a heart attack was reported on Portland Street in Wilbur.

A caller reported a semitruck speeding over 70 mph on Highway 2 and at 45 mph through Reardan.

Odessa School District staff said two girls were talking about “a man (who) was shot dead.”

An Odessa woman said an SUV seemed to have run into a house across from her house and appeared to be smoking.

A Reardan woman said a dog had been unattended for two weeks on the 100 block of Maple Street.

A Harrington man said his neighbor was getting evicted and to tell his landlord that if anyone came to clean out his apartment he would kill them.

A caller reported an Audi in the middle of the road on Highway 2 and Carstens Road.

Feb. 8

Traffic stops: 3

An Odessa man said several commercial trucks had been tearing up Batum, Lesser and Davis Roads outside town despite current road restrictions.

A caller said she saw a black car rollover on Tramm Road outside Reardan, but the owner simply had a flat tire.

A Wilbur woman requested a welfare check on her renter she hadn’t heard from in a month.

Papers were served to a man on the 12700 block of Gies Road in Odessa.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on a man on the 200 block of Maxwell Street.

A caller said a pickup truck was driving erratically and cutting people off through Reardan.

Dozens of 911 calls came from a phone number that turned out to belong to a man whose daughter kept making the calls to “mess around.”

A Reardan woman said her 16-year-old son ran away toward Spokane. He was found on Sunset Road at the county line.

A possible driver under the influence was reported at First and Morgan Streets in Davenport.

A caller said her boyfriend violated a court-ordered protection order.

A caller said she crashed into a semitruck while leaving the Sprague Rest Area.

Feb. 9

Traffic stops: 38

A caller said someone broke out the basement window of his residence.

A caller said he locked himself out of his pickup.

A Public Works employee said logging trucks were driving on Miles-Creston Road without permits.

A caller requested a welfare check on his brother on the 1000 block of Nicholls Street in Davenport.

A caller said he was behind a Chevy driving erratically on Highway 2 at milepost 260.

An Odessa man said two young men were walking around town with a clipboard trying to sell roofing.

A caller said a Chevy that didn’t belong to her was parked in her driveway, but it turned out to belong to her husband’s friend.

Feb. 10

Traffic stops: 35

A possibly stolen vehicle was reported on Highway 904 entering Cheney.

A caller said a bird house was vandalized.

An Egypt man said he was told that another man drove up Lynn Road near Hawk Creek and saw a mentally unstable man holding a gun.

A Harrington man said his neighbor’s basement smelled like diesel on the 200 block of Willis Street.

A Davenport man said he was told through a fourth party that another man wanted to kill him.

A caller said he saw five youths fighting on Third and Morgan Streets in Davenport.

An Odessa woman said she heard screaming on the 400 block of South Alder Street.

An unconscious 32-year-old man was reported.

A Davenport man said he was assaulted by another man who was renting a room at his place.

Kristine Leone Strong, 37, Spokane. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

Criminal court-Feb. 6

Donald James Bodeau, Wilbur, second-degree criminal trespassing. Sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served.

Jeramey Ronald Dehut, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license (dismissed), third-degree theft and knowingly possessing a controlled substance. Sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for four days served and 24 months supervised probation.

Lisa Tianne Stanford, Electric City, trip permit violation and driving with suspended vehicle registration (dismissed). Fined $200.

Criminal docket-Feb. 6

Judge Jeffrey S. Barkdull

Kristina Marie Keys, who is charged with second-degree identity theft and third-degree defrauding a public utility, had her trial continued to April 10. A readiness hearing was set for March 12.

Ernest Keith Young Jr., who is charged with third-degree assault of a healthcare worker, had his hearing continued to Feb. 27 due to a medical emergency.

Caden Marcus Maxwell, who is charged with second-degree theft and second-degree theft with an access device, entered a not-guilty plea. A possible change of plea hearing was set for Feb. 20.

Kathy Lynn Compton, who is charged with intent to deliver controlled methamphetamines, entered a not-guilty plea. Bail was set at $10,000. A readiness hearing was set for March 12 and a jury trial was set for April 3.
