Casey Schlomer was crowned Miss Odessa on Sunday evening at the high school library. She takes over the duties from Jenna Shafer who represented Odessa in 2014. Six Titan boys competing this year under Mike Greenwood of Harrington played their first match in Odessa on March 17 against Cusick, Inchelium and Davenport: William Mann, John Tanke, Thorsen Wehr, Trevor King, Garrison Schmierer and Kiegan Wehr. On a bright and sunny Friday afternoon, the Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band drove into Harrington and parked their motor home in the vacant lot south of the Harrington Opera House. Harrington is their first stop in the 5,200 mile tour they are making. They were served an early dinner in the Art Room and by 6 p.m. were upstairs in the newly finished auditorium.
