    With the rain on Friday, it started out to be a dreary, cold weekend for Odessa's Spring Fling.     The Washington State FBLA Leadership Conference was held at the Spokane Convention Center April 20-23, attended by 27 students from Odessa High School. Brad Johnston pitched the entire six innings played, allowing only two runs on two hits (no earned runs), striking out 12 batters and allowing no walks.     The Titan track team competed in the Undeberg Invite in Ritzville April 30, hosted by the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague athletic cooperative. The boys placed 10th out of 29 teams. The top three teams were Okanogan, Kittitas and NW Christian (Colbert). The girls placed 12th out of 27 teams, with the top three slots taken by Okanogan, Colfax and Royal City.     The Odessa-Harrington Titan golf team hosted the Mead and Lewis & Clark JV teams in Harrington on April 29. Individually, Cody Hagel and Thomas Brown of Mead tied for first with a score of 85. Ben Wendel of Lewis & Clark was third with 86 and Tanner Graybeal of Mead was fourth with 87.     Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwiches have been a staple on the Quilt Show menu for many years. The recipe originated with Betty Lybbert of Moses Lake and shared with Debbie Buscher.
