    Virgil LeRoy King was born on January 8, 1938 in Odessa to Hannah Anderson King and Lloyd King. Virgil grew up on a cattle and alfalfa ranch and enjoyed school, playing sports, especially basketball and tennis, and his many friends. Virgil is a member of the Odessa High School Basketball Hall of Fame. After attending Eastern Washington University in Spokane, he married his high school sweetheart, Rosemary Self. Together they raised 5 children in a loving and active home....

    Ron Ramm joined our Heavely Father June 24, 2017. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. Ron was born April 27, 1941 to Albert and Francis Ramm of Odessa, where he lived for 20 years and met the love of his life, Jerrene Thornock. Ron had been an employee of Lawson Market, Boise Meats and Rosauers. He and Jerrene opened Spokane Door Systems in 1974, where they worked together for the next 38 years.     The Board of Directors of Odessa School District #105 met in the school library at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. The board approved a motion to return to the Odessa Tiger mascot, with school colors of orange, white and black.
