    Ilan Coberly, a sixth-grader in the Odessa schools, has been recognized by the Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross under its Honoring Hometown Heroes program. At a luncheon held at Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights on November 15, Coberly received an award and an American flag for his efforts last January to save a dog that had fallen through thin ice on a pond just outside of Odessa.     OH vs. Republic Junior varsity Friday night’s junior varsity game against Republic gave the young team its first victory by a score of 44 - 21. Freshman Casey Schlomer led the JV team with 17 points. Also scoring were Carley Williams with 11, Lanessa Simon 12 and Kaeli Shockley 4. Schlomer also had 11 rebounds, one steal and 2 assists.     The Odessa Public Development Authority (OPDA) has signed a design/build contract with Spokane-based Garco Construction for a new 7,000 square foot USDA livestock processing facility to be built in the Odessa Industrial Park. The OPDA will lease the facility to the Livestock Processors Cooperative Association (LPCA) with a purchase option.     At its regular meeting November 28, school superintendent Suellen White told the Odessa School Board she was recommending a rollback of the 2013 levy passed last February (and to be collected beginning in April of 2013).
