Born April 5, 1920 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Pastor Edward R. and Hilda E. (Fuhr) Pflueger, Florence went home to be with her Lord on February 23, 2013.

She moved with her parents at a young age and lived in the Columbia City area of South Seattle, where her father was pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
