Judging from the levels of laughter and general conversation, this year's banquet put on by the Odessa Alumni Association Saturday evening was an unqualified success. The six honored classes were well represented, with the classes of 1964 (50-year class) and 1974 (40-year class) with approximately 20 members each.
The honored classes met separately during the afternoon at various venues to meet and greet and get reaquainted with some folks they had not seen in a very long time. Some groups took a tour of the school complex, which has changed quite a bit since most of the alums were in school.
Chiefs Bar & Grill of Odessa catered the meal, providing a buffet that left no one going hungry.
After being coralled for photos after the banquet, the honored classes in some cases returned to their afternoon venues to party on.
