Lola Marie Davis, 71, of Odessa died Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Dallas, Ore.

She was born October 23, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Edward and Wilhelmina Velart Settle. On May 18, 1963, she married Troy Davis in California. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed doll making, gardening, canning, knitting, fishing, dancing and socializing with people. One of life’s highlights was traveling the United States by RV.

She is survived by her husband Troy of Odessa, daughter Luana Bean of Dallas, Ore. and son Thomas Davis of Salem, Ore., brother Jim Settle and sister Ella Wilson, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Chuck Wise, sister Ruth Mautz and grandson Joshua Bean.

A celebration in her memory will be held Sunday, August 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Guthrie Park School at 4320 S. Kings Valley Hwy. in Dallas. A memorial fund has been established at the US Bank in the name of Lola Marie Davis for anyone wishing to contribute. The Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family.
