Basketball season was rocky for OH Titan boys

The OH Titans had a rough end to a bumpy season, losing their last four games, two of which were playoff games against Selkirk and Cusick on February 9 and 13, respectively.

At the half against Selkirk, the score was 23-33 with the Titans down by 10. The Rangers then held the Titans to a mere 12 points in the second half, while scoring an additional 28 of their own, making the final score 61-35.

Colton Hunt led the Titans with 12 points, six of them from three-point range. He also had four rebounds, an assist and steal. Colt Sanford had eight points, a rebound, four steals and two blocks. Dylan Shockley sank two from the three-point circle for six points and added a rebound. Jayd Jennings had four points, a rebound and two assists. Tyler Rollins and William Mann had two points apiece, with Mann also getting a rebound and two assists and Rollins getting a rebound and a steal. Aaron Gies contributed one point and a steal.

The second playoff loss was to the Cusick Panthers by 28 points. Scoring only 15 points at the half the Titans found themselves down by 23 and found themselves unable to recover during the 3rd and 4th quarters as the Panthers relentlessly kept the beating going.

Hunt netted 20 points, plus two rebounds, two assists and three steals. Sanford had eight points, six rebounds, a steal and a block. Shockley scored a three-point shot and had an assist. Jennings had two points, a rebound, an assist and a steal. Mann had one point, a rebound and a steal.

The Titans finished the 2015-16 season with a record of 4-18 overall and 4-10 in league play.
