Letter to the Editor: We are not a country that builds up walls

We in this country don’t build walls. We tear them down. As a matter of fact, we have talked other countries into tearing down their walls. So why would we even think of building a wall here in the United States? Are you going to let some fool tell you that this country is not great? I sure as heck am not! I know this country works best when we all work as one. Heck, man, we’ve done it lots of times. The last time was right after 9/11.

Don’t you believe and have faith that we have it within us to do it again? I know that we’ll never lay down before any foe or any person. Not us! No way! We have built into ourselves a fighting spirit that we should let no one snuff out. Not even the Trumps of the world or any other person can snuff it out.

Quit letting some fool turn you against your neighbor. We are at our best when everyone is working together to make this country of ours into something great. We have a lot to get done, so let’s roll up our sleeves and get back to work building this Nation of ours.
