Brothers Frank and Marcus Horak have announced that Odessa Auto Parts, also known to Odessa residents as the “NAPA Store,” is in the process of being sold to the group that owns the NAPA franchise in Davenport. The brothers hope that the transition will take place by November 1. They have owned the store for the past eight years and have welcomed the support of the community in their efforts.

Frank is looking forward to taking over the family farm from his parents Paul and Deb Horak, and Marcus will work on finishing his college degree in hospital administration and then look for suitable employment.

Further changes to the downtown business district are anticipated, but those involved have told The Record that negotiations and paperwork need to be dealt with before any official announcement can be made. Stay tuned.
