Athletic booster club auction coming soon

The O-H Athletic Booster Club auction is coming up on Saturday, October 22, in the Odessa Community Center, starting at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction, followed by a prime rib dinner at 6 p.m. and live auction at approximately 7:30. There will be a no host bar. Tickets are $25 when purchased in advance from Odessa Drug or from any club board member, or will cost $30 at the door.

Currently, more than 100 silent auction items have been donated, ranging from home décor, to various gift certificates, to O-H Titan coats and vests. There are also nearly 20 live-auction items, including a signed Russel Wilson football helmet, overnight packages for golf, concert tickets, mystery baskets, a Seahawks tickets and room package and more.

This year the booster club has supported sports in Odessa and Harrington in many different ways, including offsetting costs for team camps, supporting team trips to watch college athletics, supporting peewee sports programs, replacing technical equipment and offering scholarships to college bound O-H athletes. The club is currently working with both the Odessa and Harrington School Districts to help fund a major athletic facility upgrade at each location.

This is the seventh year of the booster club dinner and auction. Community members are urged to buy a ticket soon in order to enjoy a great meal and fun evening.
