Tea and Quilts, the first annual quilt viewing, will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Saturday, October 15, at 10 a.m. The church is located just east of the clinic at 602 E. Amende Drive, Sanctuary pews will be draped with over 60 quilts, and refreshments will be served in the adjoining parish hall.

Many people from throughout the community have helped complete these quilts that will be sent to Lutheran World Relief to bring warmth and comfort to people in places of need around the world. This informal event is offered so all may see the finished product, and anyone who would like to see the quilts is welcome to attend.

Quilts will remain on the pews for the Sunday worship service, at which time they will be blessed with a prayer for comfort for all who will receive them over the next six months. They will be boxed for shipping and delivered to the Spokane shipping site later this month.
