The girls basketball season has begun (although the boys must wait until the football team members who also play basketball can get in the required number of practices to become eligible to play).

The girls played Davenport in a non-league game November 29, losing 62-18. Freshman McKennah Davison scored 10 of the Titans’ 18 points. Kassidy Crossley followed with four points, and Maleah Davison and Caitlyn Schuh each added two points.

Defensively, Maleah Davison led the team with eight rebounds. Contributing two rebounds each were Tash Sheldon, Maddie Wagner, Brenna Carstensen and Mc. Davison, while Amber Smith, Alayna Watkins and Schuh had one rebound each.

The team is very young, and nerves were probably quite a factor, as team members committed a whopping 30 turnovers.
