Lynn E. Geissler

Lynn Geissler passed away February 27, 2017, in Spokane. His home was in Davenport. He was born November 8, 1951 in Spokane to Echo and Phyllis Geissler. He was a lifetime resident of Davenport, where he attended school and graduated from Davenport High School in 1970. He went on to attend college in Spokane for a short time before returning to Davenport.

Lynn married Loreen “Reeni” Provost on September 25, 1976 in Odessa, but they made their home in Davenport and ran the family farm. Besides farming, Lynn drove truck for several local companies in the area, and he enjoyed visiting with people.

Lynn was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln County Repeaters Group and Hunters Education and Davenport Gun Club.

Lynn is survived by three children, Eric Geissler, Kami (Zac) Bowman and Travis (Stacy) Geissler; seven grandchildren, Alexandria, Kylee, Sydney, Megan, Iris, Kyrah and Brody; his father Echo (Ellen) Geissler, brother Terry Geissler and his sister Lorri Tiemann and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Lynn is preceded in death by his wife “Reeni” Geissler in 1995 and his mother Phyllis Geissler in 1974.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service was held March 4, 2017 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation, 10 Nicholls St. Davenport WA 99122.
