Patricia Ann Kissler

Patricia Ann Kissler passed away on April 2, 2017 in Spokane. Her home was in Odessa.

Patricia was born February 23, 1943 in Odessa to Samuel and Anna Marie (Ramm) Homberg. She grew up in Odessa and attended school there, graduating in 1961. While in high school she was a cheerleader and played tennis. After high school she attended WSU for one year and was in Davis Hall. She married Robert Kissler on April 20, 1963 in Odessa, and they continued to live there until her death.

She was a member of the Heritage Church and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, Odessa Grange #931, Royal Neighbors, Odessa Swimming Pool Advisory Board, and was an Odessa Hospital board member for many years. Pat was a 45-year member and last active original member of the Oom Pas & Mas polka band, where she played the accordion. She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, Gonzaga Bulldogs, WSU Cougars, Eastern Eagles and Odessa High School sports. Pat also enjoyed boating, water skiing, camping, ice skating, cruises and had a special love for music. But her family was most important to her.

Pat is survived by her husband Robert "Bob," two sons Brent (Dusti) Kissler and Lance Kissler, one sister Judy (Robert "Bob") Schmidt, brothers-in-law Albert Kissler and Charles (Marlene) Kissler, one sister-in-law Marlene Homberg and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert Sammy Kissler, two brothers Sammy and Lamar Homberg and one step-brother Robert Dugger.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Heritage Church, Odessa, with Pastor Jon Hayashi officiating. Burial was held at the Odessa Cemetery.
