Donald Adrian Wener

Don Werner went home to be with the Lord March 3, 2017. He was born to Adrian and Addline (Roloff) Werner in Mohler, Wash., November 19, 1931. He graduated from Harrington High School in 1950.

After years of constructing grain elevators in eastern Washington, he entered Whitworth University where met Judie, his beloved wife of 55 years.

After graduating in 1960, he taught school in the Concord School District and then in the Gladestone District, where he taught until his retirement. He also had a house-painting business he continued through many years.

He is survived by his wife Judie; daughters Beth (Don) Schaefer and Kristi (Bob) Barnes; sons Kurt (Jean) Werner, Tim (Carrie) Werner and Eric “Skip” Werner; 11 grandchildren; sisters Gloria Kaiser and Jean (Don) Musgrave and four nieces and nephews.

Don will be remembered for his love of God and his encouragement to his family and all he met. He was a member of GracePoint Church in Milwaukie, Ore.

A memorial service was held March 20, 2017 at GracePoint Church. Memorial donations may be made to World Link Ministries, P.O. Box 610607, Dallas, TX 75261-0607.
