Food bank appeal to help restock its shelves

Needed at this time by the Odessa Food Bank are the following items:

Peanut butter, jelly, jams, soups, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, Hamburger Helper-style boxed meals, healthy breakfast cereals, canned chicken, pork and beans, tuna, laundry soap and shampoo.

Items may be left at any local Odessa churches in labeled food bank containers. The Food Bank is open to its approved clients the last Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and is located at Foursquare Church, 411 E. First Ave., at the alley entrance.
