E. Larson of OHS research lab has work published

On August 10, 2017, Odessa High School researcher Elizabeth Larson and mentor Jeffery Wehr from the Advanced STEM Research Laboratory had their medicine and health research published online in The Journal of Emerging Investigators, an online journal organized by Harvard University graduate students in Arts and Sciences. Larson's research, entitled "The Effect of Sunglasses on Ocular Exposure to Ultraviolet Radiation," was submitted for peer-review in October 2015 and after months of scientific evaluation was accepted in June 2016 and recently published in the August 2017 issue. This research acknowledges the help and support of the Odessa School District and community and marks the third of potentially more published research from future students within the Odessa High School's science department and its Advanced STEM Research Laboratory.
