Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

Grocery cart at store also accepts food donations

The winter months are always the most difficult for those who are on fixed incomes. The Odessa Food Bank, under the auspices of the Odessa Community Ministerial Association, also helps with heating bills and with the unexpected ups and downs that can happen in life.

The church-based Youth Group will not only be delivering (Sunday, November 5) and picking up (Sunday, November 12) food donations, they will also place a grocery cart at Odessa Foods for your convenience. The groceries in the cart will also be picked up Sunday, November 12.

Donations make it possible for the Food Bank to be a monthly stop-gap for families and individuals and continue to serve their needs throughout the year.

Donations are always welcome any time of year, whether monetary or in the form of non-perishable goods. A list of needed Food Bank items will appear in next week’s paper.
