OHS handles Cusick, faces Selkirk Friday

In the crossover game between the north and south portions of the 1B Northeast league, Odessa traveled to Cusick and defeated the Panthers by a score of 60-16.

Quarterback Camden Weber had a big night, rushing for 197 yards on 14 carries and passing for 154 for a total of 351 yards and three touchdowns. Joshua Clark also had a very good game, rushing for five yards and pulling in five passes for 107 yards and three TDs receiving. Gaven Elder and Colton Hunt carried nine and six times, respectively, with each getting one TD in the game.
Defensively, two freshmen led the way as Pilot Weishaar tallied seven solo tackles and two assists and Tim DeWulf added another seven solo tackles and three assists. DeWulf and Jaden Hunt also each had one QB sack, and Brady Walter picked off one interception.
The Tigers play at home on Finney Field this Friday in their next playoff game against Selkirk. Game time is 7 p.m.
