INCIDENT LOG

Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

Monday, Dec. 11: Sprague emergency personnel responded after receiving a report that a semi-truck collided with a bridge on Interstate 90 in Lincoln County.

Davenport ambulance personnel responded to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover collision in the vicinity of Mill Canyon and Zeimantz roads that occurred when the driver swerved to miss a deer.

Several Washington State Patrol units were involved in the detention of five individuals involved in a stolen vehicle incident on U.S. 2 about seven miles east of Davenport.

A teenage boy was detained after deputies responded to a domestic violence assault report in the 1100 block of Twelfth Street in Davenport.

Deputies handled a report of an unwelcome person at a residence in the 1000 block of Washington Street in Davenport.

A disabled semi-truck blocked the southbound lane of SR 174 in the canyon area 26 miles north of Wilbur.

Tuesday, Dec. 12: Responding to a residence in the 100 block of South Fourth Street, Harrington ambulance personnel assisted a man with breathing difficulties.

A Davenport woman reported the theft of an air compressor from a vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Logan Street.

Deputies investigated a report of garbage and oil covering sidewalks in the vicinity of Sixth and Washington streets in Davenport, making them impassable.

Wednesday, Dec. 13: A collision involving a vehicle and deer took place on SR 174 north of Wilbur.

Responding to the 200 block of NE E Street, Creston ambulance personnel assisted a woman who suffered an allergic reaction to a new medication.

A Sprague man reported hearing gunshots in the 700 block of South Dayton Street.

A plow truck hooked a canoe while moving snow in an alley between Adams and Douglas streets and First and Second in Harrington.

Deputies investigated suspicious activity inn the 500 block of West Second Street in Sprague.

Thursday, Dec. 14: Edna’s Drive-in personnel in Davenport reported that the outer pane of the drive-through window had apparently been broken by a rock that was discovered on the ledge.

A deputy found pet dogs without food and with frozen water on property adjacent to Moore Road North in the Reardan area.

A caller reported finding a beer can wrapped in black electrical tape and stuck to the hinges of a gate adjacent to Antler Drive in Deer Meadows.

A caller told dispatchers that someone burned slash piles despite an air stagnation advisory being in effect along SR 174 north of Wilbur.

Deputies took a report of a possible sex offense in the Edwall area.

Friday, Dec. 15: Railroad crossing arms were reported down on Birch Street in Odessa.

A head-on collision on Interstate 90 near the Adams County line involved a pickup truck and a semi-truck. Nearby, a pickup truck with a canopy struck a wall on I-90 near the Sprague Lake exit.

A caller advised of a rollover collision that occurred when the vehicle hit a patch of ice in the vicinity of Earl and Valley roads northwest of Harrington.

A Lincoln resident reported possible fraud involving a transaction with DISH Network.

Deputies investigated a report of theft at Kathy’s Market in Sprague.

A Sprague mail carrier advised dispatchers of harassment from another individual.

Odessa Police investigated an incident of telephone harassment involving unwelcome text messages.

Saturday, Dec. 16: A semi-truck slid off I-90 near Sprague. Nearby, a collision involving a pickup truck and a guardrail was reported with the truck coming to rest sideways on the railing.

The driver of a pickup truck lost control and went into a ditch near the intersection of Hawk Creek and Hawk Creek Ranch roads.

Someone broke down the door of an apartment in the 1300 block of Logan Street in Davenport.

Sunday, Dec. 17: CenturyLink personnel advised dispatchers of 911 “issues” in the county, particularly affecting the Almira, Coulee City and Wilson Creek areas.

After checking out a report of an assault involving a married couple in Creston, deputies determined the incident was verbal only, but facilitated a separation between the two individuals.

Dec. 12: Stacy Arnold Moccasin, 46, Spokane, arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) for driving while license suspended (habitual traffic offender), driving under the influence and an ignition interlock violation.

Alia Ahanakew Moccasin, 19, Spokane, arrested by LCSO on a Spokane County felony warrant.

Dec. 13: Angelique M. Harlan, 42, Sprague, arrested by LCSO for second-degree theft, second-degree possession of stolen property, first-degree trafficking in stolen property, and on an out-of-state felony warrant.

From Dec. 12 to 13, seven individuals were held in the Lincoln County Jail under contract with the Washington State Department of Corrections.
