2018 farmer's market program for area seniors

All voucher distributions are open to seniors 60 years of age and over and is on a first come, first served basis.

Participants MUST attest that they are age 60 or over, with income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and are current residents of Washington State.

American Indian and Alaska Natives are eligible at age 55 at $22,459 annual/$1,872.00 monthly income for one person or $30,451 annual/$2,538 monthly income for two people. For larger households, add $644 for each additional person.

Each qualifying senior will have an opportunity to receive a packet of vouchers worth $40 to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and honey at participating farmer's markets and farm stores in Washington.

The only thing you need to bring is your Washington state photo driver's license or your Washington state photo ID card so that we can verify your age and residency.

Funding for this program is provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington state and Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington.
