Memorial Day services

Monday, May 28, Odessa Veterans of Foreign War Post #7395 and Odessa American Legion Post #105 will perform Memorial Day services at 10 a.m. at the hospital and 11 a.m. at the Odessa Cemetery chapel. The services will include a flag salute and dedication of a flag for deceased veteran Robert "Shorty" Sewell.

Pastor Jon Hayashi of Heritage Church will be the speaker for the services.

Members of the two veterans groups will decorate the graves of approximately 230 veterans at the Odessa and Bohemian Cemeteries with a cross and small flag for the weekend.
