    Charles "Chuck" Dashiell, 75, of Georgetown, Texas passed away Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Chuck was born May 23, 1942 in Spokane to R.L. and Helen (Schell) Dashiell, the oldest of three children. Chuck married Judy VanNort on June 15, 1963 in Marlin.     The 81st annual Odessa High School alumni banquet last Saturday was a very well attended event. The community center was filled with OHS alumni from the 1940s to the current graduates of 2017. The catered dinner was provided by the OHS chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. The graduates of 2007 organized the banquet and led the annual business meeting.     Noxious weeds on lots within the town limits need to sprayed or hoed out to keep them from spreading. Koshia in particular is growing like crazy right now, and this is a good time to take care of it. The Town of Odessa has an enforceable ordinance mandating that property owners rid their land of noxious plants. If the problem persists, the Town will notify property owners by letter that they are not in compliance. After that, the Town can take care of the problem itself and bill the property owner for the cost of doing so....
