Odessa alum Nancy (Melcher) Zacher submitted a photo taken at the OHS reunion banquet in June, depicting special guest Craig Johnson with five members of the 1968-69 third-place basketball team who were on hand for their 50-year reunion. She relates that, "Craig Johnson came to Odessa in the fall of 1968. He taught biology, zoology and physics and coached the high school boys' basketball team. Tamara Jo Kowsky, "Tami-Tami," Hayden Lake, ID passed away June 24th in Odessa Memorial Hospital. She was born there 68 years ago this Saturday. When her 10-year-long battle with the devastating illness she had battled so courageously was coming to a conclusion, she chose to leave her beloved Hayden Lake and return to Odessa to spend her final days in order to be surrounded by her loving family.
