Harrington board hosts "Legos in the Library"

Children get creative with Legos at the Harrington Public Library in an event sponsored by the members of the library board.

The Harrington Library Board hosted a "Legos in the Library" after-school event last Thursday. Thirty Kindergarten through eighth-grade children brought bags and boxes of Legos to have a building extravaganza! Spaceships, helicopters, trucks, castles and police stations were just a few of the creations seen throughout the library. One lucky student was the winner of the Minecraft Lego set raffle.

This event is the first of many the library plans to have to encourage local kids to check out our public library and the services that are offered. Look for our next event on April 20, "Egg Tower...
