Deer Park match a cold and wet one for golfers

The Deer Park match was cold and rainy, said head golf coach Mike Greenwood. “Those who could block out the poor weather did well.”

Justin Baker was the low Titan scorer with a 91, followed closely by John Tanke with 92.

Low for the girls was Evie Mann with a 116, which will qualify her to go to the sub-district event in two weeks. Tanke and Baker also have met standards for pllaying at the sub-districtj event. 

The Titan golfers competed against, Asotin, Northwest Christian, Colfax, Tekoa-Rosalia, Lind/Ritzville-Sprague, Saint Georges, Wilbur-Creston, Kettle Falls, Inchelium and Davenport.

The top three teams placing were Asotin, Northwest Christian and Wilbur Creston.

Top individual scorers were Palmer Guhlke of Davenport 75, Chance Weitce of Colfax 75 and Dawson Strobel of Tekoa Rosalia 76
