Dennis Dobson

Dennis Dobson died August 13, 2017, in Spokane. Dennis was born September 27, 1943 in Odessa to Leon and Dorothy (Armstrong) Dobson.

He is survived by his brother Terry (Judy) Dobson of Hayden Lake, Idaho; nephews Jay and Tad and sister Claudia (Don) Warwick of Syringa, Idaho and nephews and nieces Todd, Mark and Greg Dooley, Kristan and Troy Warwick, Traci Good and aunt Claudine West.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Dorothy Dobson; grandparents Claude and Mary Dobson and Buriage and Christina Armstrong; his aunt Florence Pavliska, aunts and uncles Jim and Georgia Mae (Armstrong) Kinzel and Norman Armstrong.

He attended grade school in Odessa, Reardan and Othello and graduated from West Valley High School in Spokane. He attended Central Washington University where he studied to be a teacher. His passions were music, horses and helping others. He owned and/or managed restaurants in Seattle and Spokane and then managed large apartment complexes for Spokane Housing Venture for 20 years, where he cared compassionately for tenants with special needs. Park Place Assisted Living and Spokane Hospice provided end-of-life care.

Services will be held at Genesis Church, 810 S. Sullivan Rd. in Spokane Valley Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 3 p.m.
