Donations of food to be picked up Sunday

Food donations will be picked up from porches Sunday, November 12. The Odessa Food Bank will not be open during the months of November and December. Instead, holiday food baskets will be delivered to those who have shown interest in receiving them. If you wish to have a basket for the holidays and have not let the Food Bank know, please contact Merleen Smith at 982-2202 and leave a message including your name, address and a phone number.

Holiday baskets will be delivered November 15 for Thanksgiving and December 14 for December, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Reminder: The Odessa Food Bank is open the third Thursday of each month. Check the Odessa Record and the Post Office reader board for the correct date each month. In January, the Food Bank will be open Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at 111 E. First Ave., at the alley entrance to Odessa Foursquare Church.
