Local trapshooters #1 in S-R competition with 699

The Spokesman-Review’s Inland Northwest Trapshoot competition completed week 7 of competition on February 17. The Marlin and Odessa Gun Clubs participate in trap shooting from their respective locations but combine their scores to form one team that is entered into the competition. As of this week, Odessa club member Jon Fink reports that the Odessa/Marlin team still leads the competition with a score of 699 (out of 700), while their nearest competitor has 697.
Odessa
No one shot a perfect 25 for Odessa this week. Coming in with 24 targets were Lane Lobe and Markus Smith. Landon Lobe and Steve Telecky shot 23, while Jon Fink and Brian Wraspir each shot 22. Nick Tebow, Jared King and Cody Stanford shot 21 targets. Those shooting 20 and under were Colley Walter, Ryan Lewis, Tom Schuh, Anthony Paszkiecz, Tyler Smith, Doug Tebow, Bill Weber, Taylor Aalund, Trevor Smith, Cade Weber, Tucker Walter and Lonnie Smith.
High handicap winner was Nick Tebow and high doubles winner was Brian Wraspir. Miss-N-Out winner was Trevor Smith. Nick Tebow won Annie Oakley and Jon Fink won the Bushwacker contest.
Marlin
Mark Iksic, Dan Asker, Doug Starkel, Chase Jenett, and Lou Larsen all got a perfect 25, while Mark Edwins and Daryl Kimble shot 24. Shooting 23 were Bill James, Jim Imbert, Dave Asker, Jim Schell, Kevin Myre, Fred Meise, Wayne Dainty, Juan Rocha, Gunnar Falstad and Jon Hettingh.
Rich Swanson, Austin Nelson, Mark Brashear, Ken Thompson and Rob Imbert hit 22 targets. Cody Follett, Todd Druffel, Chuck Ray, Taeven Brashear, Dusty Kimble and Tyson Visker shot 21 targets.
Shooting 20 and under were Camden Eckhart, Carmen Eckhart, Ken Eckhart, Doug Brashear, Mike Christ, Ron Lesser, Brent Finkbeiner, Cory Kramer, Susan James, Noel Bouden, Brian Finkbeiner, Andre Morales, Mark Kramer, Teri Kramer, Brooke Bonaud, Jessie True, Kass Kimble, Travis Visker, Jordan James, Izabelle Kramer, Brandon Melvin, Charlene Krause, Koby Lyons, Walt Meise, CJ Schultz and Bill Buchanan. High Handicap was Lou Larsen. Dan Asker was High Doubles and also won Miss-N-Out.
