Winter ice and snow hanging around

Last updated 2/26/2019 at 12:43pm

Crab Creek viewed from the Division St. footbridge shows that a layer of ice was not quite thick enough to hold the animals that attempted to cross it. Two sets of footprints lead almost all the way across before ending where the critters broke through. Fortunately for them, they almost to the opposite bank where the creek was shallow and presented no danger. Freezing nights, sporadic snow showers and cloud cover are forecast for most of the next week or more.
