Justin Scott Goetz, 38, Odessa, pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to third-degree assault in connection with a Jan. 7 incident involving Lincoln County Sheriff’s Sgt. Roland Singer, who was responding to a report of a man breaking things with a baseball bat inside a residence in the 300 block of East 2nd Avenue in Odessa. The law enforcement officer suffered neck and wrist abrasions.
