Tamara Jo Kowsky, "Tami-Tami," Hayden Lake, ID passed away June 24th in Odessa Memorial Hospital. She was born there 68 years ago this Saturday.

When her 10-year-long battle with the devastating illness she had battled so courageously was coming to a conclusion, she chose to leave her beloved Hayden Lake and return to Odessa to spend her final days in order to be surrounded by her loving family. To those who she impacted with her beautiful smile and demeanor during her time here, it was absolutely the right decision.

She realized, when the expected three-week stay stretched out to over four months, how difficult it must have been for the hospital staff and wanted to express her deep appreciation to them, as well as to Hospice of Moses Lake and also to her brother David Kuch and sister-in-law Rhonda for graciously opening up their home so that her husband of 48 years could be with her in the end.

A Celebration of Life is tentatively planned in Odessa on July 19.
